There are two types Almond Oil: (i) Sweet Almond Oil and (ii) Bitter Almond Oil.

Sweet Almond Oil is extracted from the edible Sweet Almond tree variety. Almonds from this tree are sweet and considered safe to be consumed. The sweet Almonds are good for the overall health as well as for use on the skin and hair.
